Kenny Zais, Owner/President

As president of this independently owned and operated global agency for nearly thirty years, Zais sets the tone for the entire O’Brien & Levine team with an unwavering focus on innovation and superior service. His early career experience with technology brands enabled him to position O&L at the forefront of emerging litigation technologies like real-time depositions, videoconferencing solutions, streaming content, and digital exhibits. Zais balances the application of these technologies with an old-school approach to customer service that’s based in a tradition of establishing trust and confidence to build long-term relationships.

A sought-after expert on litigation technology and a respected leader in legal communities at home in Boston and across the country, Zais shares his insights via articles in industry publications and donated his time and expertise to many organizations. His leadership experience includes director roles at both the National Network of Reporting Company (NNRC) (where he currently serves on the growth and marketing committee) and the Society for the Technological Advancement of Reporting (STAR).

Deb Curran, Director of Business Development and Senior Account Executive

In her role at O’Brien & Levine, Deb’s affinity for the legal profession and strong focus on relationships give her great insight into what a litigation group expects and how to make a real difference in litigators’ practices every day, for every case.

An important part of her work is helping clients take full advantage of the latest legal technologies. Deb and her team provide customized guidance to attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants so they can leverage the time- and cost-saving efficiencies of O&L’s global service solutions. She also helps legal teams learn about the expedient new methods for conducting depositions and covering arbitrations and trials.

Before joining O&L, Deb oversaw business development for Legal Talk Network, bringing attorneys’ podcasts to attentive audiences. Previously, she was event manager with Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly where she created and managed a series of must-attend legal community events that continue to this day.

Complementing her work at O&L, Deb donates her time and expertise to serve on the boards and committees of several inspiring non-profit organizations including City Year and YWCA Boston.

Mary Vo, Production and Scheduling Supervisor

When it comes to customer service, Mary Vo is resolute. Mary started at O’Brien & Levine as a production specialist, but her innate understanding of the workflow and intersection between departments quickly earned her the role of scheduling supervisor. In this role she oversees O&L’s fast-paced scheduling and production departments – coordinating reporter and videographer expertise to meet the particulars of each scheduled proceeding She sees each assignment through to delivery of transcripts and video files, all per clients’ individual requests and standing orders.

Prior to O&L, Mary was with Citibank and Bank of America in personal banker positions, where her customer service focus was highly valued.
