Don’t all kids in grade school and middle school want to figure things out? The Discovering Justice 2016 Annual Benefit benefits the discovery of justice all year long. As a sponsor for years, O’Brien & Levine will be there for this remarkable evening.
It’s a Celebration of Civic Education. We’re all for programs that introduce young people to democratic values, history, justice and civic responsibility—in school, after school, and in courthouses. Students think. Question. Consider another point of view.
Event host Jim Braude of WGBH-TV (Greater Boston) and WGBH Radio (Boston Public Radio) will be keeping it topical for 400 expected guests, including the legal community and the educators and students who participate in Discovering Justice. It’s April 13, 6 p.m., Moakley U.S. Courthouse, Boston.
Honorees are Mary Bonauto, GLBTQ Legal Advocates & Defenders and Douglas Hallward-Driemeier, Ropes & Gray, for their arguments before the U.S. Supreme Court in Obergefell v. Hodges—the landmark marriage equality case.
Discovering Justice Annual Benefit will be the place to be. Tickets here. See you there!
