Q. Mobile device? Really?

A. Sure! Download our free app, O&L Mobile, to access all your transcripts, your deposition calendar, directions to our offices, and connections to our customer service team via your iPhone, iPad, or Android device. We also have some recommendations for other apps that you may find useful.

Q. Sometimes it isn’t practical for my team members and experts to be physically present at a deposition. Can you set us up with videoconferencing or Internet streaming?

A. These options are increasingly popular as a way to reduce travel costs and time out of the office. We bring participants together from remote locations in whatever way works best for you:

  • Our main office in Boston offers high-definition videoconferencing and we also coordinate the locations, logistics, and connections with all other remote sites in advance.
  • If it’s a challenge for a witness or legal team member to travel to a video conferencing center, we will bring the conferencing center to them via our mobile videoconferencing solution, which provides a secure connection and full tech support from an O&L team member.
  • We also coordinate Internet streaming to securely send realtime text and video of the deposition to remote participants who can view it directly on their computer, laptop, or mobile device. Counsel, experts, and support staff can confer through private chat without needing to install any special software.

Q. Can we schedule video depositions?

A. Yes, Our professional, experienced legal videographers will be set-up and ready to go on the record when you are. Our production group can then synchronize the deposition transcript with the video file so that during playback each line scrolls as the witness speaks – capturing demeanor, body language, and tone of voice. In addition to video of deponents, our legal videographers also produce day-in-the-life video and demonstrations of machinery, equipment, medical devices, and other products.

Q. We have a court date. The record will be taken with a recording system, but we prefer a stenographer. Can you help?

A. Yes. You can take us to court. O’Brien & Levine stenographers cover civil trials, hearings, and other proceedings. Working with our team of professionals, you can count on:

Also, if you have an audio file from a matter in court, we also provide transcription and translation services.
